Thai one on!

Starting the next adventure!   A few days after I decided for sure that I was retiring, Melodie sent me an email about a tour to Thailand.  Well, why not?  So here we go!

Melodie came up a few days early after surviving Hurricane Irma.  It was a little touch and go at first if she was going to make it all.  Luckily, all is well and we're at the Atlanta airport waiting to board the first leg of our journey.  It's going to be a LONG day.

Nick took us to the Atlanta airport for our 6AM flight.  That early in the morning the rule of thumb of arrive 3 hours early for an international flight just doesn't apply.  We got to the airport about 3:50 and Air Canada agents were just opening up.  The place is deserted!  A little eerie.  With a little more checking than usual, we were checked in.   Security doesn't open until 4:45 so we had a bit of a wait there.  Now, waiting to board the flight to Toronto.

Made it to Toronto. Now waiting for the LONG flight!  But, it is a very pleasant place to wait and Melodie and I are both playing with our cameras. 

 I am actually starting to find my way around my camera a bit more.  I feel better that Melodie, who also has a Cannon, agrees that my Cannon is not intuitive.  There's free Wifi but it is painfully slow.
